How do I create an official nonprofit campaign?

Before you get started, see if your organization qualifies to receive donations on Causes here.
Make sure your supporters and other Causes users know that you are a registered nonprofit by making your campaign "Official." Official campaigns are where nonprofit-only tools exist and labeling your campaign as such will help distinguish it in our search results.
To mark your official nonprofit campaign, follow these steps:
1) Start a Campaign - If you have one then go to the campaign which you’d like to mark official
2) Post a Fundraiser Action – Link the fundraiser to your organization’s EIN (if you already have a fundraiser started, go to step 3)
3) On your campaign page, click “Manage Campaign” – On the bottom right of your admin dashboard, click “Make this your official nonprofit campaign.”
4) Click “Claim This Page” and submit your application
Once your application is submitted, please allow 48 hours for it to be approved by Causes staff (Tip: Sign up with your organization email to streamline the process). After your application is approved, your campaign will be marked as official and you’ll have full access to our nonprofit tools. Your official nonprofit campaign will be your organization’s Causes community that you will be able to message and run campaigns with moving forward.
Make sure to add someone from your nonprofit as an organizer of your official nonprofit page so that others can access the dashboard to manage your community going forward. Once you've done that, you're all set!

Do you have a fiscal sponsor?
If your sponsoring organization is already registered as a 501(c)(3) in GuideStar, then simply start a campaign and create a Fundraiser for your fiscal sponsor. When your sponsor receives the funds from Network for Good and download the donation information, your campaign will be clearly indicated. Please contact your fiscal sponsor to discuss your arrangement with them and make sure that the money you raise is going toward your organization.
