Do you like the term "Administrator" for the leaders of the cause?

Did you start a cause or are your managing one now? Do you like being called the "Admin" or "Administrator" of the cause or would you rather be called something else like:

Leader

Organizer

Manager

Captain

Coordinator

I should prefer 'Organiser' (spelt with an s) to administrator

I like "Administrator"  because it is the correct word for the cause.

I like administrator ....I would like to know how to be the head administrator. I'm the Founder of my non-profit and  you have one of my board member as the founder on the cause page. I asked for this to be changed but nothing has happened yet. Are you still working on this?  My Email is EDSNetwork@wi.rr.com  My cause is Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Network CARES Foundation

Thanks, Lynn Sanders - Founder/President

Hi Lynn,

Thanks for your comment but unfortunately, the Founder of the cause is the person who originally started it and it is not something that can be changed. You can be the Primary Leader of the cause which gives you the ability to add and remove other leaders, but we cannot change the Founder.

I agree with Lynn. "Founder" sounds very grand, but the person who "founded" my organization's cause was a short-term employee who is long gone. Since we have a small organization, people are familiar with all current staff. They become very confused when they see this person they never heard of listed as founder. I would REALLY like to be able to change this! My organization is the Massachusetts Down Syndrome Congress. thanks.

No like term.Too bureacratic, bland and often associated with "evildoers". Cf Alduous Huxley, Orwell, etc. Just my 2 cents.

It looks like

* "Founder" has been removed.

* Organiser / Organizer issue is avoided (USA is not the only country represented on causes.com)

* "Leaders" is in place

Works fine for us!
